Riddle.

I’m as small as a pea but not as round,
I’m greener than an olive when timely found,
you should always eat me while humble and small
or I’ll grow out a flower, fairy and tall.

    You are talking about caper, which is a flower bud of the plant called Capparis spinosa, and the photo shows its flower.
